Defender Squadron One, often shortened to Defender Squadron, functioned as a starfighter squadron within the Galactic Empire's Seventh Fleet. This squadron consisted of a dozen TIE/d "Defender" Multi-Role Starfighters, and its commander was Captain Vult Skerris until he met his death amidst the Lothal campaign, where Skerris piloted a TIE/D Defender Elite. Following Captain Skerris's demise, Captain Benj Dobbs took command of the squadron.
