The Depot XLS functioned as a Repair Yard owned by the Telgorn Corporation and was situated within the Fondor system.
Historical records indicate that the repair yard was scheduled to receive several vessels for maintenance. These included the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate named Fury, a trio of Assassin-class corvettes known as 192, the Ton-Falk-class escort carrier designated Straasa, the Strike-class medium cruiser called Manticore, the Nebulon-B2 frigate Sicorro, and the CR90 corvette AD88. Regrettably, while the ships' shields were down, a Rebel strike force consisting of B-wing starfighters from Rogue and Green Squadrons launched an assault. Their objective was to eliminate the starships while they were most vulnerable. The defending forces included TIE/ad starfighters from Avenger Squadron, Assault Gunboats from Talon Squadron, TIE/IN interceptors from Gamma Squadron for air superiority, and the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Hammer as a final defensive measure.
