Derliff, an Imperial Moff, was a male Human governing a sector encompassing the Silken Asteroids cluster within Wild Space. During the initial period of the Galactic Civil War, he attempted an assault to dislodge a small Rebel outpost situated in the Silken Asteroids, but General Jan Dodonna successfully managed a defense and forced Derliff to withdraw his military.
Moff Derliff is a character featured in the challenge mission of Princess Leia's campaign of the video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, released in 2001. This mission, and therefore Derliff's presence, is also present within the 2002 expansion, Clone Campaigns, for the game.
