Dirha, a rough and tumble industrial world, could be found in the Dirha system within the Hutt Space area of the galaxy. This planet was positioned along the Sisar Run hyperlane, offering a route to Cyborrea and the Sespe system.
The Hutt species clan known as the Vosadii kajidic held sway over Dirha, using it as a place for starships to get refueling while traveling towards Nimban and Nar Kreeta. Following the invasion of Hutt Space by the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong military, they terraformed Dirha using a process called Vongforming between 25 ABY and 29 ABY.
The planet's initial reference appeared in The Essential Atlas, a reference book from 2009 that was a joint effort by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, locating Dirha in grid S-9.
