Disciples of the Whills

The Disciples of the Whills constituted a group that revered the Force, with adherents identifiable by their plain red robes. During the era of Operation Fracture, they represented the most ancient still-practicing religion on Jedha, though their rituals were not as outwardly expressive as those of the Guardians of the Whills. A male human named Angber Trel belonged to the Disciples. Silvanie Phest, a female from an Anomid settlement, became a Disciple of the Whills following her colony's conversion.

In contrast to the Guardians of the Whills, who prioritized feeling the Force and its presence, the Disciples favored listening and striving to comprehend the Force's will. Their belief system embraced both the light and dark aspects of the Force, asserting that the existence of light necessitates darkness, and that maintaining equilibrium within the Force is crucial.

A prominent Disciple, Kozem Pel, authored a compilation of texts known as Collected Poems, Prayers, and Meditations on the Force.

Their activities on Jedha encompassed gathering donations for the impoverished and chanting their prayers at the Temple of the Kyber. Furthermore, the Disciples managed and funded an orphanage that provided care for the numerous children orphaned as a result of the increasing conflict on Jedha during the Imperial occupation. Killi Gimm was especially dedicated to the orphanage's well-being.
