Dixon Just was a Human who frequented the underworld of the planet Coruscant quite often in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. He was often in the company of his companions Zey Nep, Artuo Pratuhr, and Civ Sila. On one particular night in 22 BBY, Just, along with Nep, Pratuhr, and Sila, paid a visit to the Outlander Club, which was located in Coruscant's Uscru Entertainment District, at the same time that Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker entered, on the search for the bounty hunter Zam Wesell.
Just was positioned near the entrance of the club, holding a beverage and offering greetings to those entering. Shortly after, he engaged in a discussion with Sila as Skywalker made his way through the club. Just observed as Kenobi disarmed Wesell and escorted her out of the establishment. He had light colored skin, dark hair, and he was wearing dark colored clothing while at the club.
Dixon Just's debut was in the 2002 prequel trilogy movie Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, where Justin Dix, a member of the film's Droid Unit crew, played the character. The Outlander Club scenes featuring Just were filmed at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000. Just's name was first mentioned in the article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night" by Daniel Wallace, which appeared in the seventy-fifth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine on April 6, 2004.
