Attack on Garn

The conflict known as the attack on Garn, alternatively referred to as the doom of the Ordu Aspectu, occurred a significant number of years prior to the Battle of Yavin. During this event, droids under the command of Eternal Rur launched an assault on both members of the mainstream Jedi Order and a dissident Jedi faction called the Ordu Aspectu. When Jedi inspectors arrived at the Citadel of Rur, Eternal Rur commandeered the citadel's droid forces and initiated a campaign to kill all those residing within. In an attempt to restrain Eternal Rur, the original, mortal Rur initiated a jump of the citadel through hyperspace, successfully disabling Eternal Rur but sacrificing his own existence in the process.
