After the Battle of Endor, a Duros named Dowron made the planet Artorias his new home. By the year 6 ABY, he possessed a slave called Nina. Upon learning this, King Caled Galfridian of Artorias confronted Dowron at his residence, insisting on Nina's immediate release. Dowron attempted to negotiate with the king, even suggesting a temporary arrangement, but Caled, refusing to entertain the idea, commanded him to disable the kill chip implanted in Nina. As the Duros complied with the order, Nina turned on him without hesitation. She instructed Caled to depart, and proceeded to murder Dowron with her own two hands. Subsequently, Caled banished Dowron's supporters from Artorias.
