Dramath's holocron

Dramath's holocron, a device of immense power, served as a prison constructed by the Sith Lord known as Tenebrae to confine the essence of his father, Dramath.

History

Following the patricide committed by Tenebrae in 5103 BBY, he chose to imprison his father's spirit within the confines of the holocron as a means to perpetuate his torment. Years later, he enacted the devastating Ritual of Nathema, a cataclysmic event that extinguished all life on the planet, granting him immortality. Now known as Vitiate, Tenebrae secured the holocron within his private vault, situated beneath the Sanitarium, the only structure that endured the passage of time on the ravaged world of Nathema.

Subjected to imprisonment and torment for over a millennium, Dramath eventually discerned that the holocron possessed the potential to imprison not only himself but also Vitiate, and even to bring about his destruction under specific circumstances. In 3630 BBY, Lana Beniko and the Alliance Commander discovered his holocron within the Sanitarium. By this time the Commander was unwillingly hosting Vitiate's spirit. Acting on Dramath's advice, they liberated his spirit and took possession of the holocron, hoping to finally eradicate the Immortal Emperor.

Subsequent to the Alliance Commander's ascension to the Eternal Throne, Vitiate revealed his long-term plan to fully dominate the Commander's body. He forced the Commander's consciousness into the deepest recesses of their mind, where a representation of the holocron was also present. Within the depths of their mind, the Commander located the holocron, utilizing it to first restore their physical appearance and subsequently to liberate the spirit of Vitiate's daughter, Vaylin, from his control. Arcann, Vaylin's brother, employed the physical holocron to aid the Commander in their struggle, and the three confronted Vitiate. The Commander was able to utilize the holocron to diminish his power. Ultimately, Vitiate destroyed the holocron's representation within the Commander's mind, but the physical holocron remained intact and was used by Senya Tirall to join her children and the Commander in the final destruction of Vitiate's existence.
