Dreadnaught-Three

Dreadnaught-Three, often shortened to D-Three, held the distinction of being the third ship out of a total of six Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers deployed on Outbound Flight.

History

In 27 BBY, it was delivered directly from the production facilities of Rendili StarDrive for utilization in the project. Following the destruction of Outbound Flight on the Redoubt, Dreadnaught-Three was repurposed as a remote location for the banishment of Force-sensitives, owing to its secluded nature. By 22 ABY, this had occurred on only two occasions.

A unique aspect of the ship was that it had no individuals survive the crash, and it housed a Delta-12 Skysprite. The Skysprite was initially planned to transport Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker back to the Republic before Outbound Flight departed from the galaxy. They had initially boarded under the command of Mace Windu to monitor Jorus C'baoth as his actions became increasingly unstable. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine ultimately ordered them off the ship at its final stop within Republic territory. Consequently, the Skysprite was never put into service. The hyperdrive of the ship was dismantled by Jorad Pressor's father in order to stop the Jedi prisoners onboard from fleeing.
