Jorad Pressor

Jorad Pressor was among those who lived through the Outbound Flight Project. Unbeknownst to him, his family's selection for the project stemmed from his father, Dillian Pressor, possessing a subtle glimmer of Force-sensitivity, suggesting possible Jedi capabilities in his descendants. He had two sisters, Katarin Pressor and Rosemari Pressor Tabory.

Biography

Dillian Pressor, Jorad's father, exhibited a minor connection to the Force. During the Outbound Flight incident, Jorad was only four years of age.

While aboard Outbound Flight, young Jorad befriended the Jedi Lorana Jinzler, referring to her as Jedi Lorana due to his inability to pronounce Jinzler correctly. This bond influenced his decision not to kill her brother, Dean Jinzler, when he fell into the trap set by the Survivors. He even aspired to become a Jedi himself, but his Force potential proved insufficient. Later, following the vessel's crash on an uncharted planet within the Redoubt, Pressor and his family found refuge in the supply core alongside other survivors. They subsequently established a self-sustaining colony, with Pressor eventually assuming the role of Guardian, dedicated to protecting the colony from external threats.

In 22 ABY, Jorad functioned as the colony's guardian, utilizing his Force-sensitive niece, Evlyn Tabory, in his duties. He also assisted his sister in concealing her daughter's Jedi potential to prevent her exile to Dreadnaught-Three. Following his experiences with Jorus C'baoth, Jorad developed a deep-seated aversion to the Jedi, actively suppressing Evlyn's unique abilities. Upon the arrival of strangers at the remnants of the Flight project, Jorad once again exploited his niece's abilities to successfully ensnare the newcomers. He confined the strangers within the turbolifts, permitting only their supposed ambassador and his companions to accompany Jorad back to the colony.

In the meantime, Luke and Mara Jade Skywalker successfully escaped from an Imperial detention facility and made their way to the Redoubt, where they came across the Outbound Colony.

The colonists, along with the Jedi, the Chiss, and the Empire of the Hand, soon found themselves under assault by the Vagaari. The Vagaari had initially disguised themselves as Geroons, seeking retribution for their defeat and humiliation during the Battle of the Redoubt.

Ultimately, Jorad and the other colonists were evacuated to the Empire of the Hand.
