Within the Meatlumps, who were technology-averse terrorists operating from their hideout on Corellia, a drooler was a designated role. Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, which took place in 0 BBY, a male and female pair of droolers managed a kissing booth inside the Meatlump's sewer-based sanctuary. For the cost of a single Meatlump Lump, these droolers would offer a kiss to patrons. It was relatively common for these Meatlump droolers to spread a viral ailment known as Meatlump Mono following a kiss. Those infected could seek out Gitchur Lumpback, who worked in the Meatlump complaint division, to request their Meatlump Lump back. However, Lumpback would subject these customers to a never-ending cycle of red tape.
Meatlump droolers existed as non-player characters in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game brought to life by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, prior to its shutdown on December 15, 2011. They were incorporated into the game as a part of the "Meatlumps Theme Park", which was introduced through "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King," launched on June 19, 2008.
