The Meatlump Hideout served as the central base of operations for the Meatlump Gang on the planet of Corellia during the Galactic Civil War period. Specifically, it was situated within disused maintenance tunnels located beneath Coronet City.
The Meatlumps, a group of terrorists with a strong aversion to technology, utilized the Meatlump Hideout. They successfully managed to conceal both the existence and specific location of their secret headquarters.
This hideout was established underneath the streets of Coronet, the capital city of Corellia. It occupied a series of derelict maintenance tunnels. The structure of the hideout encompassed multiple chambers and passageways spread across several levels. The primary point of entry was found on the lowest level of an abandoned warehouse somewhere in Coronet.
The largest chamber within the hideout functioned as a "throne room" for the enigmatic Meatlump King, the legendary leader of the Meatlumps, whose very existence was as shrouded in mystery as the hideout itself. This is where the King would meet with his followers.
In addition, the Meatlump Hideout was heavily populated with various types of rodents, notably including meetles and worrmps.
Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, the activities of the Meatlumps became the subject of an investigation by Vani Korr, a journalist working for the Corellia Times. In the year 1 ABY, she enlisted the help of an adventurer to aid her in her inquiry. This spacer encountered Kaiya Merel, a Meatlump Lieutenant, and feigned a desire to join their ranks. The adventurer then deceived the Meatlump lieutenant and, after completing several successful assignments, was ultimately accepted into the Meatlump organization. Kaiya Merel granted the new recruit complete access to the clandestine Meatlump Hideout. This spacer became one of the few individuals outside of the Meatlumps to ever set foot inside the Hideout, and eventually came face to face with the Meatlump King. The data and intel gathered from within the hideout enabled Vani Korr to finalize her expose, entitled Who are the Meatlumps?. Her article revealed the existence of the Meatlump Hideout beneath Coronet and exposed the existence of the Meatlump King.
Besides the Meatlump King, other Meatlumps who were active in the hideout after the Battle of Yavin included Hraykken Bender, Snugli Explevey, Recruiter Joe, Balia Alloo, Chef Schlump, Assistant Chef Schlap, Lieutenant Dorvin Kanu, Lieutenant Cyru Sarkee, Captain Loman Vosso, Decider Ximo Tacx, Newin Seedel, Captain Coptszt, Gitchur Lumpback, and a pair of Meatlump droolers.
The Meatlump Hideout appeared as a location within the 2003 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars Galaxies, before the game's termination on December 15, 2011. Its introduction to the game occurred with the "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King" update, which was released on June 19, 2008.
