Schlap was a cook of the Meatlump species, a Human male, who resided on the planet of Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era. Subsequent to the Battle of Yavin, Schlap's occupation was in the kitchen of the Meatlump Hideout, situated underneath Coronet City. He functioned as the assistant chef for Chef Schlump, who was the personal chef to the Meatlump King. Their culinary endeavors involved preparing meatlumps as food and creating Meatlump wine.
In the video game Star Wars Galaxies, Schlap, the assistant chef, was a non-player character. Star Wars Galaxies was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, released in 2003, developed by Sony Online Entertainment, and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Schlap's inclusion in the game occurred when the "Meatlumps Theme Park" was introduced as part of "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King," which was released on June 19, 2008.
