Craft specifically engineered for the transportation of troops down to a planet's surface were known as Dropships. Examples of dropships included the Imperial Dropship Transport, in addition to the Y-45 armored transport hauler, furthermore, the Theta-class barge, and the Y-85 Titan dropship. It's worth noting that Gozanti-class cruisers could function as dropships; they were able to carry either four TIE/ln space superiority starfighters, four All Terrain Defense Pods, or even two All Terrain Armored Transports utilizing docking clamps that were mounted on their undersides.
