During a confrontation on the Shattered Moon, Thornne wielded this lightsaber against the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, but ultimately perished in their duel. Following this, Cal acquired the lightsaber, dismantled it, and integrated its crossguard emitter into his own lightsaber.
