E. K. Johnston

Emily Kate Johnston, an author of several young-adult novels within the Star Wars canon, was born on May 19, 1984.

The young-adult novel Ahsoka, which saw its release on October 11, 2016, is arguably the work for which Johnston is most famous. Later, she penned the story "By Whatever Sun" for the From a Certain Point of View anthology; this story centers on Miara Larte, a character created by Johnston for Ahsoka, and details her activities during the events of A New Hope.
