Elcho Kressh, also known as Kressh the Younger, was the offspring of the Sith Lord Ludo Kressh. As his adversary, Naga Sadow, mobilized the Sith Empire to engage in the Great Hyperspace War against the Galactic Republic, the elder Kressh grew fearful for his son's well-being. Consequently, Kressh invented a device to shield his young son from any danger, ensuring he could only be touched if he permitted it.
As the Hyperspace War intensified, Ludo determined that, to further safeguard his heir, he would have his son seek sanctuary outside the Stygian Caldera on a distant star system, far from the Republic and Naga Sadow's schemes. Upon receiving news of his father's demise and the fate of the Sith Empire, Elcho began plotting a retaliatory strike against the Republic, utilizing the limited resources available to him. In the years leading up to his assault on the Republic, Elcho Kressh secretly amassed a formidable army composed of pirates and individuals harboring grievances against the Republic from numerous systems. He employed a combination of bribes and agreements, allowing these groups to maintain their independence while fighting under his command.
On the very night of his planned invasion of the Republic to reclaim his and his father's honor, his revenge was thwarted when he suffered a ruptured stomach due to excessive alcohol consumption while celebrating the impending attack he would never participate in. Shortly thereafter, the powerful force behind the movement disintegrated, as all arrangements were based on personal contracts and relationships meticulously cultivated by Elcho himself. Without Elcho's leadership, the entire endeavor collapsed, and the counter-attack never materialized.
At some point during his self-imposed isolation, Elcho created a holocron containing his teachings, which was later discovered by the Sith Lord Mandragall and profoundly influenced Sith wartime strategies for generations during the New Sith Wars.
