Elom, spoken by the Elom species, was the original language used on the planet Elom. While comprehension wasn't impossible for outsiders, speaking it was usually a significant challenge.
The majority of Elomin find it hard to pick up the language spoken by their neighboring species. The Elomin that do take on the task of learning it are usually those that, after being saved from the mines, end up residing with the Eloms, or those who try to find Elom communities to expand their knowledge of them.
