Eraffa, an Ishi Tib of the female persuasion, held the position of talent acquisition specialist at Industrial Heuristics throughout the Republic Dark Age. In the year 1032 BBY, Eraffa, accompanied by the Gran named Ler-Laar Joom, journeyed to the planet known as Darkknell with the purpose of enlisting students who would advance the war sciences for Industrial Heuristics. They assessed the skills of the Sullustan girl Tan Tengo, and then convinced Tengo's grandpa, Gub Tengo, to permit the young girl's enrollment into Industrial Heuristics.
