Explosives belt

Explosive belts functioned as compact, hidden explosive devices disguised as small belts. These belts, typically crafted from wide hides or synthetic fabrics, came in numerous designs. Commonly, explosive belts held detonite tape, a remote detonator cap, and a length of wire, all hidden inside the belt's buckle. Various intelligence organizations throughout the galaxy manufactured them, and they were sold for 450 credits. Their remote detonation capability made them a favorite among saboteurs and infiltrators for acts of sabotage.

Development History

The first reference to explosive belts appeared in Cyphers and Masks, a 2018 resource book for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game that was released by Fantasy Flight Games.
