Fame Drimal was a lieutenant within the Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion, serving the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. This green-skinned Neimoidian initially found himself stationed near Plagen, a Separatist world located in the Expansion Region. Later, in 19 BBY, Drimal received a new assignment: guarding the Separatist Council on the volcanic planet Mustafar. Dressed in Neimoidian guard armor and carrying a Neimoidian ceremonial blaster rifle, Drimal stood to the right of the entrance inside the Separatist leadership bunker, with Captain Gap Nox positioned to the left. The Sith Lord's apprentice, Darth Vader, arrived, sent by CIS ally Darth Sidious. However, Sidious betrayed the Council, and Vader killed Drimal along with everyone else present.
Fame Drimal's initial appearance occurred as an unnamed extra in the 2005 film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. Originally, the scene included Drimal being slain by Vader alongside Nox, but it was ultimately cut. In 2014, Tim Veekhoven, Kevin Beentjes, Sander de Lange, and Leland Chee identified Drimal in the Star Wars Insider 147 article "The Devious Neimoidians Revealed". Further details regarding Drimal's character were provided in the 'Devious Neimoidians Revealed' creation notes, which were posted on the Star Wars Sourcebooks Facebook page, also managed by the first three authors. It's worth noting that Drimal's name was misspelled as "Dremal" within those notes.
