Tim Veekhoven



Tim Veekhoven, who was born on May 5, 1976, has been a contributor to various StarWars.com features, the Star Wars Blog, Star Wars Insider, Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon, and the Star Wars Encyclopedia published by De Agostini.

Biography

Through the What's The Story? segment featured on Hyperspace, in the original Databank, Tim Veekhoven penned the background stories for characters like Swilla Corey, Tzizvvt, Maxiron Agolerga, and Wam Lufba.

He holds the positions of co-founder and president at TeeKay-421, which is the Belgian Star Wars fan club. Furthermore, he is the Administrator for Yodapedia, the Star Wars wiki in Dutch/Flemish. He received the honor of Friend of the Rebellion in September of 2012, and in 2015, Rebel Legion Benelux recognized him as an Honorary Member. At Celebration Europe II, on Friday, he took part in the International Star Wars Fandom panel alongside Gerald Home. On Sunday, he organized the Star Wars Trivia Challenge through TeeKay-421.

Alongside Kevin Beentjes and Sander de Lange, he conducted research and contributed writing to the Rogues Gallery section within Star Wars Insider, beginning with the 145th issue.

On Wookieepedia, he goes by the alias Sompeetalay.
