The Fardi clan, a smuggling family of considerable influence and riches, conducted their illicit activities on the Outer Rim planet of Thabeska a single year following the establishment of the Galactic Empire. To evade Imperial attention, the clan maintained a number of legitimate enterprises that concealed their true smuggling endeavors. Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi Knight fleeing the Empire, found employment with the Fardi clan as a courier.
