Following Sardoth's unsuccessful attempt to recruit him for a raid targeting The Hub, Dunlan exited the gathering and instructed his adherents to disperse and reconvene at their secure location. It was during this moment that Fenic revealed the extent of his devotion to Dunlan.
Fenic had formulated a scheme to assassinate Dunlan and subsequently claim the substantial bounty that the Empire had offered for his capture. He successfully positioned his blaster pistol to target Dunlan, but when the critical moment arrived to discharge the weapon, he faltered—even when Dunlan urged him to proceed. Fenic's internal conflict concluded when Wyl Tarson neutralized and subdued him.
