Eorm prior to Dreypa's rebellion Eorm was a coastal settlement situated on Kesh, a planet. This port town was built along the southern shoreline of Keshtah Minor, a continent, and faced the expanse of the Southern Ocean. The people of Eorm were descendants of Sith rebels. These rebels had been subjugated and stripped of their rights by the Lost Tribe's ruling class after Parrah's rebellion. A significant portion of Eorm's population worked as tailors and weavers, occupations that led to them being looked down upon by other members of the Tribe. The town's inhabitants were a mix of native Keshiri people and Humans.
Parlan Spinner, a Human advocating for anarchy, and his family, known as the Spinner family, were prominent residents of Eorm. Despite the Hilts Restoration which was established by Grand Lord Varner Hilts, a reform-minded leader, the town's inhabitants continued to experience difficult and oppressive conditions. By 2974 BBY, Lord Galathos had taken control of the town, and he was known for his brutal methods of control over the populace. Before Remulus Dreypa's rebellion, Galathos commanded his soldiers to destroy several homes because the residents had not met the required quota for sail production.
However, Dreypa used his Force powers to kill Galathos and his soldiers. Following the Seizure of Eorm, Dreypa, together with Spinner, a local collaborator, started a revolt against the Lost Tribe and made preparations to advance on Tahv, the Sith's capital city. Dreypa's primary motivation for instigating the rebellion, however, was to find a means to escape the planet. Meanwhile, Takara Hilts, a Sith princess, and Kaliska, the leader of the Doomed, absconded with Eorm's entire uvaks herd and journeyed back to Eshkrene where they gathered the remaining members of the Doomed in an effort to thwart Dreypa's plans.
