Nahsu Minor, a planet of temperate climate and grassy terrain, existed within the Ktilac Regions, which were part of the Allied Region situated in the Inner Rim. This world served as the original home of the Murachaun species. In conjunction with the Ktilacs and Tocoyans, two other species also native to the same area, the Murachaun people fostered a kind of religion where each group was viewed as essential to the others; they also built an interconnected system of cities, villages, and agricultural lands. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire forcibly removed thousands of Murachaun individuals from their home planet to be used as slave labor because of their reputation for being hard-working. While the planet itself remained at peace, many Murachauns who were taken off-world secretly became members of the Rebel Alliance. The Ktilac Regions maintained their status as an Allied Region under both the New Republic and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances.
