This Glie-44 was wielded by Finn, a former stormtrooper who deserted the First Order and allied himself with the Resistance in 34 ABY to assist in their ongoing war against his former comrades. Because of his extensive combat training, Finn was skilled in the use of many different types of small arms, exceeding the capabilities of the standard weapons issued by the First Order. The pistol was powered by a power cartridge and included a reactant gas port cap in its stock. He carried it as a sidearm during his Mission to Canto Bight and also during a mission to Kijimi.
