Firrhana, a planet found within the Outer Rim, was at one time under the dominion of the Sith. They constructed a temple on its surface where they performed sacrificial rites. Following a volcanic eruption that triggered an ecological catastrophe, the planet was deserted.
A cataclysmic volcanic event in ancient times left Firrhana largely unsuited for habitation. Its landscape is now defined by a mix of lava expanses and fungi growths. The planet was left desolate after this event, with only a small number of resilient species managing to survive. The remnants of a Sith temple can still be found among the darkened summits situated within a lava plain.
Before a volcanic eruption led to its desertion, Firrhana was a Sith-controlled world. On this world stood a temple where blood sacrifices were carried out. Hundreds of years later, as the Clone Wars drew to a close, Jakadis, a bounty hunter, transformed the temple into his own stronghold. There, he held captive numerous Jedi. Upon learning of this, the Grand Inquisitor put former Knights Iskat Akaris and Tualon Yaluna to the test, dispatching them on a mission to dispatch the Jedi. Assisted by a Purge Trooper known as Sixty-Seven, Akaris breached Jakadis's defenses. She then murdered the three Jedi she discovered, claiming their lightsabers as prizes. Before departing, she murdered Jakadis and raised a celebratory drink within the temple's sacrificial chamber.
The most notable structure on Firrhana was the Sith temple.
