Sometime in the period spanning 19 to 14 BBY, Jakadis transformed a former Sith temple located on Firrhana into his own private stronghold. Within its walls, he held captive three Jedi he had managed to capture. Subsequently, the Inquisitorial novice Iskat Akaris secretly entered the fortress, having been sent there due to whispers of Jedi survivors on the planet. She promptly located and eliminated all three imprisoned Jedi. Jakadis observed her battle against the last Jedi, Klefan Opus, from the concealment of a hidden corridor. Struck by her abilities and desiring to enlist her, he emerged from his hiding place to extend an offer. Before he could finish speaking, she severed his head.
