Flyhorn lizards, sometimes shortened to just flyhorns, were a species of lizard native to the planet of Tatooine. These creatures were generally solitary, inhabiting the deserts of the world. To survive the heat, they employed their horns and broad, fan-shaped tails to gather condensation and prey on small insects for sustenance, thereby obtaining their eat. Certain moisture farmers regularly monitored flyhorn lizard activity close to their farms as a method of predicting crop output.
The flyhorn lizards were conceived for Star Wars Outlaws, a video game developed by Massive Entertainment and launched on August 30, 2024. These creatures were initially shown to the public in a gameplay demonstration revealed on June 10, 2024, before the game's official release.
