A WED unit employed by the Imperial Security Bureau aboard the Wheel space station possessed foam sealant as it tried to attach a tracking beacon to the starship belonging to a band of spacers employed by the tech salvaging firm IsoTech.
The initial appearance of foam sealant occurred in 2013 within Beyond the Rim, a roleplaying adventure authored by Sterling Hershey for Star Wars: Edge of the Empire, the roleplaying game produced by Fantasy Flight Games.
