Fostar Haven

Fostar Haven was a center for illicit operations and a commercial space station. After the Galactic Empire obliterated the planet of Alderaan in an act of destruction, a group of Alderaanian refugee vessels in a convoy fled to Fostar Haven. Consequently, the Empire dispatched Helix Squadron with orders to destroy the convoy. As the Imperials began inspecting the ships in the vicinity, the Stationmaster protested and eventually opened fire on Helix Squadron. Lindon Javes, the squadron's commander, opposed attacking the refugees and defected from the Empire, helping the convoy to escape. The Rebel Alliance picked up a distress signal from the refugees and dispatched Echo Squadron to aid the escaping convoy.
