The initial form of the Jedi Order's Archives was the Fount of Rajivari, which originated on the world of Tython located in the Deep Core.
Jedi Master Rajivari constructed the Fount, which served as the first knowledge repository for the newly formed Jedi Order on the planet of Tython. This collection, the vision of Rajivari, a founding member of the Jedi High Council, was hidden within the remains of a Tythonian city in ruins and its location was a secret, known only to his most trusted students. The Fount was a vast network of computers and databanks, maintained by Rajivari's dedicated Lore Keepers.
During the Force Wars that devastated Tython, Rajivari died, but his spirit remained, tending to the machines and preserving the accumulated knowledge for centuries to come. Many years after the Force Wars, the Jedi Order returned to Tython during the Cold War that played out between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. As the Order re-established its temples on Tython, a young Jedi Padawan, who would later be known as the Barsen'thor, sought out the Fount in hopes of accessing its wisdom. The Padawan followed clues left by Rajivari on the hilt of an ancient artifact called the First Blade, ultimately discovering the Fount and the lingering spirit of Rajivari in chambers located deep beneath the ruined city's acropolis.
