Biography

Je'daii Master and General

Rajivari, a Force-sensitive male Human, was highly regarded as one of the most insightful Je'daii Masters within the Je'daii Order, and also a top-tier general. His wisdom and leadership were well-known, and he commanded armies during the Despot War, securing numerous victories. However, after the conflict, he chose to relinquish his weapons and seek solitude on an island near the Temple of Akar Kesh, dedicating himself to Force meditation. Ketu, a former student of his who had risen to the position of Temple Master at Akar Kesh, would sometimes visit him to seek counsel on critical matters concerning the Je'daii Order.

Therefore, in 25,800 BBY, Ketu journeyed to his former master to share the unsettling visions that Daegen Lok had supposedly experienced within the depths of the Chasm. These visions foretold the arrival of an army led by a figure distinguished by a single red eye and wielding a fiery sword. Seven years later, Ketu once again sought out Rajivari, this time bearing news of a vision received by three Je'daii Journeyers, which predicted the coming of the Force Hound Xesh. Rajivari, who had initially disagreed with the decision to dismiss Lok's vision, questioned Ketu's judgment upon learning that the stranger had been exiled to Bogan, asserting that "where there is one warrior, an army may follow."

Later, Ketu requested Rajivari's presence at Akar Kesh to aid in accessing the Kwa Holocron, a relic from an extinct ancient and interstellar civilization that had been accessed by Tasha Ryo. However, when Ryo presented the Holocron's guardian, A'nang, with a skull discovered aboard the alien ship, A'nang exclaimed "Rakata!" and disappeared.

Subsequently, Rajivari attempted to access the Holocron in the presence of Ketu, Ryo, and Ters Sendon. A'nang explained that the Rakata were a cruel Dark Species that had taken control of the galaxy and caused the Kwa's extinction.

Founder of the Jedi Order

Master Rajivari, a figure of immense power, held the distinction of being among the first members of the Jedi High Council. He convened on the planet of Tython and played a pivotal role in establishing the Jedi Order's guiding principles. Rajivari trained the first Jedi Lore Keepers, and secretly founded the original Jedi Archives, calling it the Fount of Rajivari. At some point, Master Rajivari succumbed to the dark side of the Force and attempted to destroy the Order that he helped create. Embracing a set of principles that contradicted the Jedi way, he and his followers fortified themselves within the ancient Temple of Knowledge, Kaleth. Rajivari was ultimately defeated during the siege of his fortress, and the memory of the Fount faded into legend.

Legacy

Following the Great Galactic War and the resurgence of the Sith Empire, a hologram of Master Rajivari was discovered on Tython after the Order relocated from Coruscant. This Northwest hologram became a target for the Jedi, who sought to reclaim it for the Tythonian Gnarls, only to find that it had already been stolen. His spirit lingered within the ruins of the Fount until a young Jedi Padawan entered and encountered Rajivari's spirit. Rajivari recounted the history of the Fount, its creation, and the plot of Nalen Raloch to use it to destroy the Jedi on Tython. Master Rajivari tasked the Padawan with stopping Raloch and saving the Jedi Order. The Padawan redeemed the Jedi Master, convincing him to leave the Fount and become one with the Force.

Personality and traits

Rajivari possessed a remarkable charisma that enabled him to rally a significant portion of the Order's members to his cause. He regarded his fallen apprentices with a paternal affection, viewing them as gifted and loyal individuals. He initially held hope that Nalen Raloch would prove worthy, despite his failure to appreciate the value of solving Rajivari's challenges within the Fount of Rajivari. These challenges drove Nalen to madness, and Rajivari regretted his teachings. Although Rajivari desired the Order's destruction, he also envisioned its subsequent rebuilding, a goal that Nalen's single-minded focus on permanent destruction thwarted.

Powers and abilities

According to Jedi Master Yuon Par, Rajivari's power was immense, allowing him to sway a significant number of Jedi Order members to embrace his principles. His worthiness in retrieving the hilt of the First Blade, as demonstrated to the droid guardians, further attested to his abilities. After his death, Rajivari achieved the state of a Force ghost.
