Fourth Flight was a component of Red Squadron, a starfighter squadron belonging to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, and consisted of T-65B X-wing starfighters. During the Battle of Yavin, this unit was under the command of Luke Skywalker, who had Wedge Antilles and Biggs Darklighter flying as his wingmen in the squadron of starfighters.
