Fwit
Fwits were an animal species that were originally from the world of Maridun. They were the target of hunting by the Amanin, a sapient species also from the same world.
Behind the scenes
The Fwits were initially created within the Star Wars Legends storyline, with their initial mention occurring in Ultimate Adversaries. This was a 2004 sourcebook for a roleplaying game called the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, and it was released by Wizards of the Coast. Their first appearance in the updated Star Wars canon was in a 2022 booklet titled "Mustafar and Other Planets in the Outer Rim," which was part of the Star Wars Encyclopedia reference series.
