Gadget, an astromech droid, served with Ton Phanan while he was a member of Wraith Squadron. Gadget stayed with Phanan until his X-Wing met its end, leaving both the pilot and his droid without a ride. Later, after Shiner was destroyed, the R2 unit was reassigned to Myn Donos. The R2 unit's most significant undertaking occurred when he assisted Piggy in getting aboard the altered CR90 corvette named _Night Caller_ which was located on the Lunatic; the operation was a success, and they captured the ship.
