Galactic Passport (real-life artifact)
A Galactic Passport During the August 2012 Celebration VI event, Galactic Passports were being offered. The Galactic Passport could be found at the Scholastic exhibit, featuring pages that showcased various publishers like Dark Horse Comics, Del Rey, Dorling Kindersley, and Workman Publishing. Notably, only the internal front cover and initial pair of pages presented content from within the Star Wars universe. On the other hand, the "visas" were linked to the publishing houses.
Both Aurebesh and the High Galactic alphabet were used on the inside front cover and initial page. The individual visa stamps were also inscribed in Aurebesh. The Galactic Empire was credited as the "issuer" of these passports, with the Imperial Space Ministry handling the "registration". These passports served to advertise the inaugural Star Wars Reads Day, which took place on October 6.
