Galuf Cardaan was a male Human miner who made his home on Naboo during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, Galuf Cardaan became part of a team of mining specialists who worked within the Gallo Mountains on Naboo. In the year 1 ABY, a criminal organization known as the Mountain Poachers seized control of the bunker that served as the miners' central base of operations. Consequently, Cardaan reached out to Sergeant Snopel, a retired Imperial commando, seeking assistance in eliminating the poachers. Snopel then deployed a squad of commandos in training to handle the situation with the criminals. The commandos launched an assault on the bunker, eliminating several poachers during the fight, and successfully regained control of the building. The miners were extremely pleased to be able to return to their bunker.
Galuf Cardaan functioned as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Galuf Cardaan was integrated into the game when "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," was released on November 15, 2005.
