Mountain Poachers

The Mountain Poachers were a band of lawbreakers, specifically poachers, who were active on the planet of Naboo during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

History

Following the Battle of Yavin, the Mountain Poachers established their base of operations in the Gallo Mountains. This group included beings from a variety of species, such as Humans, Bith, Rodians, Bothans, and Aqualish. They had also trained creatures known as narglatches to assist them in their poaching activities.

In the year 1 ABY, the Mountain Poachers seized control of a bunker that was being used by a group of Naboo miners as their operational headquarters. This bunker was situated in the mountainous wilderness, located a number of kilometers southeast of Lake Retreat. One of the miners, named Galuf Cardaan, made contact with Sergeant Snopel, a retired Imperial commando, with the intention of eliminating the poachers. Subsequently, Snopel deployed a group of commandos who were undergoing training, tasking them with confronting the criminals. The commandos launched an assault on the bunker, resulting in the deaths of several poachers and narglatches, and successfully regained control of the structure.
