A fortified underground shelter, situated within the Gallo Mountains on the world of Naboo, functioned as the operational headquarters for a collective of Naboo miners during the Galactic Civil War era.
This structure was positioned near the Zaprin Estate, at the base of the Gallo Mountains, bordering the Lianorm Swamp, several kilometers to the southeast of the Lake Retreat. The majority of the bunker's construction was subterranean. Only a small upper level, featuring the sole entry point, was observable from the surface. The two subterranean levels housed a variety of rooms, each serving distinct purposes. Several computer terminals were actively utilized by the poachers. The largest chamber on the lower level served as a communal dining area.
Following the Battle of Yavin, this bunker became the central base for a group of miners.
In 1 ABY, a band of outlaws known as the Mountain Poachers, along with their trained narglatchs, seized control of the bunker. Subsequently, one of the miners, Galuf Cardaan, reached out to Sergeant Snopel, a retired Imperial commando, seeking assistance in expelling the poachers. In response, Snopel deployed a squad of commandos undergoing training to address the criminal presence. The commandos launched an assault on the bunker, eliminating several poachers and narglatches during the operation, and successfully regained control of the facility.
The mountain poacher bunker appeared as a location within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. The bunker was incorporated into the game with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. Within the game, the bunker was simply referred to as the Occupied Bunker.
