Galvain Tark, a Nikto male, made his living as an animal handler. He resided on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era. Tark dedicated himself to training three durnis for racing, a task he pursued diligently for many years. Unfortunately, in 1 ABY, the Chirq Council's criminal element absconded with his durnis, imprisoning them within a bunker located close to Doaba Guerfel. Consequently, Galvain Tark enlisted the help of a spacer to rescue his beloved animals. The spacer successfully gained entry to the bunker, freed the durnis, and returned them to their grateful owner.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Galvain Tark appeared as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was brought to players by LucasArts, with development handled by Sony Online Entertainment, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. The character of Galvain Tark was introduced to the game via the "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives" update, which was released on June 8, 2006.
