Gammit Chond

Gammit Chond was an artist of the Ithorian male persuasion. Despite the fact that he apparently never left his homeworld, and some even claimed he never wandered more than a day's journey from his residence, Chond produced a collection of hand-drawn planetary maps derived from the stories of numerous travelers. These maps were later compiled into the Galactic Atlas. While not precisely accurate, they were, in actuality, efforts to capture the atmosphere of the worlds they portrayed. Eventually, certain pieces of Chond's art made their way into the Graf Archive located on Orchis 2, where a lucky archivist discovered them within the Shadow Stacks. Additional creations, believed to be Chond's, concerning alien species were brought to light by the archivist droid named TR-33NA; due to their great age, much of the material had deteriorated, yet what was salvaged was released alongside supplemental data. The publication mentioned that the original work came from a previously-unidentified artist who might have been Chond.
