Ganamey Davloterra

Ganamey Davloterra held the position of art director for the Chrono newstack, a weekly publication, during the closing decades of the Galactic Republic. She was a female human, and well known within the publishing circles of Coruscant for her firm political beliefs. Davloterra was tasked with creating the art piece titled "Taxation Without Federation" for the weekend version of the HoloNet News, a work that protested the taxation of trade routes imposed by the Neimoidian controlled Trade Federation. Despite its wide circulation in the Mid Rim, the artwork faced swift condemnation from Trade Federation publicists, who labeled it racist due to its portrayal of a stereotypical, overweight Neimoidian plutocrat.

Behind the scenes

The first mention of Ganamey Davloterra occurred in Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy, a book authored by Pablo Hidalgo and published on October 25, 2016.
