Gannod Chant served as a unique investigator for the Council on Security and Intelligence of the New Republic, and subsequently for the Security and Intelligence Council of the Galactic Alliance. In 40 ABY, he rendered the Wavlud Manuscript into another language, incorporating his discoveries into the Jedi knowledge compendium. His discoveries greatly illuminated the meaning of the Darth title and how the Sith utilized it.
