The Dantari people of Dantooine had shamans known as Garoo. Oral tradition was the method by which they kept and passed on their wisdom to those who followed them. Certain Garoo, those with deeper understanding, held onto details regarding the initial Jedi outpost located on Dantooine. One Garoo, named Maga, was found by Mammon Hoole along with Zak and Tash Arranda.
