Doctor Gatten Edaine was a Human of the male variety. He served the Galactic Republic during the era known as the Cold War.
Edaine was stationed on Taris in 3643 BBY alongside Laria Taphoni and Tal. They were all employed by the Taris Resettlement Initiative. As part of his duties, he took part in the mission to collaborate with Jedi Master Cin Tykan in exploring the ravaged swampland, which was infested with rakghouls. Tragically, the majority of the expedition's members perished. Edaine, being part of a survey group, had departed with Tykan prior to the deadly assault.
