Gerlon Two-Fingers

Gerlon Two-Fingers was a Human male who, at one time, was regarded as one of the most skilled duelists within the Taris dueling ring.

Biography

Gerlon was a seasoned combatant in the Taris dueling ring. He advanced rapidly, improving his abilities daily. A devastating incident occurred when Gerlon's blaster malfunctioned during a fight, overheating and exploding, which resulted in the paralysis of three fingers on his right hand; this led to him being known as Gerlon Two-Fingers. Marl characterized this event as an exceptionally rare occurrence, stating it was "one in a million". Following the injury, his prominent position in the ring gradually declined, until Deadeye Duncan, the least formidable duelist, was the only one he could overcome. Gerlon harbored considerable resentment regarding the accident and frequently asserted that he could have defeated the majority of other duelists had he retained the full use of his fingers. Ultimately, Ajuur, who owned the arena, started utilizing him merely to weaken adversaries for subsequent matches.

In 3956 BBY, Revan, using the pseudonym "the Mysterious Stranger," emerged victorious against him in a televised duel.

Behind the scenes

Gerlon's initial canonical appearance is as a character that the player cannot control in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic video game. Within the game, Revan, controlled by the player, has the option to battle him in the dueling ring. However, the encounter's design is such that it neither advances the storyline nor affects the player's moral standing. Consequently, it remains uncertain whether Revan ever actually engaged with him.
