The creation of Ghorin's home occurred for Star Wars: X-Wing Tour of Duty: Imperial Pursuit. This was the initial expansion pack for the 1993 LucasArts video game Star Wars: X-Wing. It was identified as a castle within The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published in 2008. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia contained an entry about Ghorin that mentions his castle being on Plooriod IV. This is in contradiction to the Imperial Pursuit cut scene, which visually depicts the castle's location as Plooriod III.
